"Grouping artists from all different backgrounds to bring you a collection of contemporary dancing and aerial arts. This piece was created to shine a light on the importance of versatility in the performance world. Movement, strength, flexibility and aerial. Putting this piece together has allowed these performers to learn from and work with different movement types. Bringing them all together to create "The Collection"

With this magical introduction to Greek mythology, Meeting on Mount Olympus will tell the stories of the many amazing and mythical Gods and Monsters of Greek mythology, shown through Aerial Arts, Dance, Singing and Storytelling. Join us as we take you on a journey about the magical world of Greek mythology!
SPANISH WEB 101 WORKSHOP WITH EMMA D’LEMMA
Come learn the head-spinning aerial art of Spanish Web! Essentially an aerial rope with a loop attached near the top, Spanish web is a two-person discipline with a flyer and a setter. The flyer climbs up and secures their hand, foot, or knee in the loop, and executes poses and movements on the rope. The setter spins the rope from the floor allowing the flyer to move about how they please.
In this intro workshop, students will learn how to climb the rope with the help of a setter, perform a basic hand spin, and will try several tricks with a hand in the loop. Each student will also have the opportunity to try setting the rope and building a spin for a flyer.
Prerequisites: Must be able to climb to the top of an aerial silk or rope. One arm hang skill on any apparatus preferred but not required.
THIS IS A CASH ONLY WORKSHOP, PAY WHEN YOU ARRIVE. THIS WORKSHOP IS $65.
